Mr. Speaker. this amendment proposed by my colleague Is merely for the purpose of destroying this legislation. He sa his amendment is more liberal than mine. This is the first time since I have been in this Congress and on the Committee on Immigration that I have heard a statement made. by my good colleague. Mr. JOHNSON. that he is more liberal than L We do not want any liberality. we are coming to this Congress for Justice" to remove a discrimination that has been on the statute books for almost 10 years. Everyone concedes that we are discriminating against aged parents. and not one solitary move has been made in all these years to bring in these old people together.
