I am not asking for such permission. I am going to read the letter. The question has been asked as to what are the remedies for unemployment. The letter I desire to read is from a gentleman who suggests one. If those who were so anxious to increase the price of sugar to the consumers of this country will listen to this letter. and will appreciate the situation of distress which they have brought about by insisting upon defeating measures prohibiting immigration from Mexico. I think they will aid in bringing about some relief to the unemployment situation. The letter is from Detroit.
