Mr. President. I realize that little remains to be said. in view of the admirable presentation against the adoption of the nationalorigins provision of the immigration law as a national policy. embraced in the informative and able address of the Senator from North Dakota . He has covered every aspect of the question so fully that. of necessity. whatever may be said by those who follow him in debate advocating the repeal of the nationalorigins provision. will be largely repetition. It seems to me. however. the Senate and the country will be interested In having the opinion of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States on this question. A very exhaustive report of the immigration committee of the Chamber of Coalmerce of the United States. which committee was composed of 13 of the bestknown and ablest business and Industrial leaders of the country. representative of every section of the country. was made public at the annual meeting of this organization. held in Washington. D. C..
