Any method of determining admission into this country of the nationals of other countries which operates to discriminate against a fellow countryman of any of those who participated in the most glorious events in our history. based entirely on guesswork data. as is admitted by the committee having the matter of investigation in charge. is certainly very much to be condemned. I sincerely trust that this Congress will in the few days remaining again postpone the operation of tlis socalled nationalorigins provision of our present immigration law until such time as the whole matter of quota basis can be more carefully considered with a view to arriving at a method which will be more just and equitable to all parties concerned.
