This matter has nothing whatever to do with the immigration bill. The committee refused to have anything to do with it at first. but they are now panicstricken when the gentleman from Georgia offers his amendment. so that immigration is going to be tainted with the corruption of prohibition. But I am not much surprised. I think the Labor Department is one of the best departments in Washington. and if there is any gravy in this thing.
