If a person is domiciled In a foreign countryas. for example. in the case of Windsor. Canadaunder this provision before he can continue to operate in any employment in Detroit he must comply with the law and be allowed to enter the United States as a quota immigrant or as an immigrant. Then. after he has received permission to enter the United States as a permanent immigrant. he is allowed under the law the right to depart at any time to a foreign country for not more than six months without losing his right to remain in the United States. So that if he wishes to have his house across the river in Canada and come in each morning to his work. after he has complied with the law. there is nothing in this provision that will prevent him from doing that.
