Speech #690024323

Mr. President. I appreciate very much the Senators contribution to my remarks. because. as everyone knows. he Is very familiar with the situation. having renlered such distinguished service to the Government as its representative in Greece. The record shows that the league. although It studied questions of deported women and children and helped in the relief work of refugees. did nothing to prevent Greece. a member state. from resuming war In 1921. and made no effort to restrain or admonish France and Great Britain from aiding and abetting the war. COMMENTS Or HGH AUTHomrITES Mr. President. I wish every Senator could be compelled by some means to read the two volumes entitled " Security Against War." by Frances Kellor. of whom Whos Who. 192425. says in part: LL.
