I The House last year passed the immigration act of 1924. and the Senate passed it by an almost overwhelming. vote. This bill repeals the very crux of the immigration act of 1924. There is no disguising it. and it ought not to be disguised. Let me call the attention of the committee to the fact that there Is no charge now for visding a passport of an immigrant.
