There is no danger of this country being overran by Mexican immigration. and. so far as South America is concerned. it is a joke to talk about it. for there is practically no immigration from the countries of South or Central America. During two years of the last 10 years there has been an abnormal immigration from Mexico. in both cases the result of revolution in Mexico. Men of high type. high character. and splendid education have come here because of the conditions in Mexico. They have not settled in States in the interior of the country. but have located along the borderfor example. in Los Angeles.
