They adjust themselves to our ways. our manners. our customs. our laws. our institutions. and become a part and parcel of usAmericans first. last. and all the time. This is so of our Italians. Greeks. Germans. and all our foreign born. But this is because thlr e are not so many of them. If we had as many foreigners as they have in some other States we could not assimilate them. It is because of the huge numbers congregating in other States. and not assimilating with Americans. that I am going to vote for a further restriction of immigration.
