On yesterday a notion was made to increase the appropriation to the Attorney General to arrest the reds and.the alien anarchists in the United States by $500.000. and the gentleman from Texas voted for the amendment. Now. under the law. after there is once an arrest. the question of the trial and judgment is all turned over to the Department of Labor. and out of this appropriation the trial proceeds to judgment. and the Secretary of Labor renders the judgment. Now. the gentleman would have them arrested. thrown into jail without any appropriation for their trial or deportation when they are found guilty.
