Somewhere I have read that one mnan in a hundred goes to college. about ten in a hundred reach high school. about 90 in 100 never go beyond the elementary schools. We hear considerable now about the Americanization of adults. a most laudable and patriotic project. But how about tle children. the American citizens of tomorrow. native born and naturalized. the best hope of our countrys future? Will it be good judgment to lose sight of them? Can the country. if it is to endure. afford to do so?
