I am not going to interfere with tile passage of the Senators joint resolution . but I want to call attention to tile fact that in the sundry civil bill of 1919 we appropriated $2.450.000 for the enforcenelt of the imnaigration laws that can be used for the deportation of aliens. and so forth. and that in the deficiency act of November 4. 1919. we appropriated $200.000 more for the Department of Justice to use in the deportation of aliens. and there xvas also available for the Department of Labor an additional amount of $263.000 for the deportation of aliens.
