Before the Senator nmakes his objection finally I should like to say to.him that the bill which I ask to have considered is a bill authorizing the deportation of alien enemies. I brought it up on three different occasions. and I think the objections were explained away. The department is extremely anxious to have the measure passed. They say they are annoyed by these people. that they have no power to dispose -of them at this time. and It is a source of infinite annoyance. It Is at the urgent instance of the department that I am seeking to take up the matter.
