There ar6 men in this House--I know of one man. and I think there are several nenwho were born in Germany. Ifthis bill.should become law in its present form it would. permit the President to treat as public enemiesMembers of this House and several million othar men or woznen who are now In the United States and who are just as loyal as are any Members of this House. I can not see the reason for treating a naturalized citizen whose country of origin is Germany or Austria or Bulgaria in the drastic way which this bill permits.
