They are a type. They did not come here by accident. They came by premeditated design. They were not assisted emigrants. except so far as they were assisted by laws which they had violated and regarded as oppressive in the country from which they emigrated. They have an idea that this country is open enough for free speech to degenerate into advice for disorder and for a free press to degenerate into lawless license. so over they come. They undertake to carry into effect what they consider the rights of lawless license rather than free speech and of a free press.
