What is most needed in the South? People. It is true they have the black man. but the colored man is not a constructive man. He works for today. He has no thought of the future. The immigrant works for tomorrow. Gentlemen have spoken of the old immigrants. They have been fulsome in their eulogies of those who came here from Ireland. Germany. and the Scandinavian countries.
