The truth is that in the last six years Canada has received only 23.000 more immigrants than we have received from Canada. and during the year 1913. 54.000 Americans. who had gone to Canada returned to the United States. The tide of immigralion seems now to be in our favor rather than against us. So I think we exaggerate the idea that our people are leaving the United States in great numbers and going to Canada because of superior advantages there.
