If the gentleman has not used all of his time. I desire to say in reply that I think the only remedy that could be applied for the condition which the gentleman has argued against is that which he has suggestgd himself. that either you will have to retain the provision that we have put in this bill. or else you will have to take the other horn of the dilemma and limit the naturalization proceedings to the Federal courts. As between these two propositions. I was in favor of the one that is contained in this bill. and I trust that the committee will be in favor of it.
