I never heard of such a thingit is almost inconceivableas sending an interpreter into a grand or a petit jury room. I live in one of the growing States of the Northwest where there is a large foreign population. Perhaps onefourth of the population of Minnesota are foreign born. I have practiced law for many years in various parts of the State. and I have never yet known or heard of a case where it has been necessary to interpret the arguments of counsel or the charge of the court to the jury or of such a thing as an interpreter appearing before the grand and petit jury. I beg leave to quote from another district judge.
