After the act of 1891 conferred jurisdiction upon the Court of Claims to adjudicate and determine claims for Indian depredations committed against citizens of the United States by tribes of Indians in amity with the Government. these parties. Mr. Hornick. Mr. Evans. and Mr. Dunn. commenced their action in that court to recover their damages sustained by this depredation. During the trial of that case it developed that Mr. Hornick was of foreign birth. and upon inquiry no record of his naturalization could be found. and upon this evidence the court in that case made this finding of facts: This case having been heard by the Court of Claims. the court. upon the evidence. makes the following
