Before the previous question is ordered I should like to suggest that at the time this resolution was agreed upon by the Committee on Rules it was intended to give us today and tomorrow for the consideration of immigration bills. The day having been consumed by other business. I suggest that the Committee on Immigration and Naturalization be given another day (tomorrow and the day after) for the purpose of considering these bills. There are so many gentlemen who have signified to me their desire to occupy the floor that it will be impossible to get through by tomorrow at 4 oclock. I would offer as amendment. Mr. Speaker. that tomorrow and Wednesday be devoted to the consideration of immigration bills.
