This is the only proscribed class so far as I know. I will say this. that it is the interest of our Government. as far as possible. to open our realestate resources to immigration. and. with that view. we ought to deal liberally with the people of all nations and induce other nations to deal liberally with our people. Certainly our citizens of whatever persuasion should not be subjected to any disadvantage as compared with citizens of other nations in the countries with which we have treaties. I think. therefore. no one can object to this resolution. except perhaps that it may not go. far enough. But if we enter into diplomatic relations with Russia upon this subject. we may in the end go further.
