Speech #CREC-2017-10-10-pt1-PgH7907_t3

We don't tell the judge: Don't be putting this criminal in prison because he has kids at home. We don't worry about the separation of families when it comes to enforcing the law against American citizens, but we worry about enforcing the law against people who have intentional and willfully divided themselves. Now, what happens if we should grant amnesty to DACA recipients and then deport their parents? That splits up the family. I say: Get right with the law, go to your home country and apply to come in the legal way. By the way, when you arrive in your home country, if you truly are characterized for DACA, you will have a free American education that the American taxpayers pay for. You will be bilingual. You will have familial connections in your community.
