Speech #CREC-2017-06-07-pt1-PgH4676_t19

I include these letters of support in the Record. The National Treasury Employees Union, June 5, 2017. Dear Representative: On behalf of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officers at the Department of Homeland Security who are stationed at 328 land, sea and air ports of entry represented by the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), I ask you to vote YES on H.R. 2213, the Anti-Border Corruption Reauthorization Act of 2017. This legislation would expand the applicant pool for vacant CBP Officer positions by allowing the CBP Commissioner to waive polygraph requirements for certain categories of job applicants. NTEU continues to have significant concerns about the slow pace of hiring at CBP.
