Session #114 · 2015–17

Speech #1140108444

It is already having a profound effect. We are talking about a very poor country that doesnt have the resources to deal with climate change. Bangladeshis will be uprooted and turned into climate refugees without a home. I would bet these individuals would disagree with the Heritage Foundation that the impacts of climate change are "far from terrifying." If you think the Syrian refugee crisis is difficult to deal with. just think of the magnitude of what we will see if we do not address climate change. For a lawyer at the Heritage Foundation to make this claim is not only irresponsible but. frankly. dangerous to the welfare of people around the world. These are just a few examples of the falsehoods that the Heritage Foundation spreads about climate change.
