In the wake of this foreign policy debacle. we have lost an entire group of people called the Yazidis. who have been basically wiped off the face of the planet. There have been hundreds of thousands of people displacedmillions displacedand they are going to look at America and say: You cant count on America. Every young child in a refugee camp who was driven to that camp because of our failure to deal with ISIL. allowing Assad to barrelbomb his or her family. is going to grow up not liking us. One day we are going to have to confront them. The effects of this strategy of failed foreign policy are going to be generational.
