The status quo means dangerous criminals are being released onto our streets. That is a fact. I will tell you what is going on here. We have colleagues who are afraid to cast a vote. They are afraid of having to make a choice. They are afraid that if they vote with me to put pressure on cities to end sanctuary cities. it will offend some people. and they dont want to do that. If they vote against it. they know they are endangering their own constituents. and they dont want their constituents to know that. Rather than standing up and making a decision. what do they do?
