The Middle East conflict and the resulting humanitarian catastrophe prompted some European leaders to embrace very wellintentioned but misguided immigration postures. Now. nations from Greece to Sweden are confronting capacity issues and deadly security risks. No immigration system can remain just and orderly without necessary and robust border protection measures. It is not fair. It is not fair to the people who are there. who have set up the political systems that are welcoming others. and it is not fair to people who do need to flee the violence and reestablish themselves in other nations.
