TX. issued an injunction against the Presidents Executive action. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed that injunction. and now the Supreme Court of the United States heard arguments in the case this afternoon. This is really more than just about immigration. This is whether. under the doctrine of separation of powers. the Constitution we have lived under for lo these many years gives the President unilateral authority without the approval of Congress. the elected representatives of the people. and in flagrant disregard for the laws that are already on the books. The heart of the case the Court heard today is about stopping a President who said: I have a pen and I have a phone.
