So not only is this important from the standpoint of the Constitution and the rule of law. as has been so eloquently stated thus far. it is something that doesnt fit common sense from the standpoint of scale. And there is one last point. There is a financial cost to this. The Cato Institute estimated that you are looking at about $14.000 per household. If you multiply that times the number of refugees that the President is talking about here. you are looking at about $19 billion in cost. That is about twothirds of the dustup we have had over the budget. You are talking about $30 billion.
