Mr. Speaker. I rise today to honor the life of Terence J. OSullivan. 86. who passed away on Thursday March 31. 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born in 1930 in Colma. California to Irish immigrant parents. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served in the Korean War. from where he was honorably discharged in 1952. During the conflict. he participated in the Inchon Landing and the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. one of the bloodiest engagements of the war. Terry worked in the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) Local Union 261 in San Francisco in 1947. at the age of 17.
