That is why Congress has such a low approval rating. Well. look. lets begin by debating the issues that people care about. They are hard. I get that. Fixing our broken immigration system. balancing our budget deficit. securing Medicare and Social Security. are not easy issues. But why dont we spend a day doing that. today. all day. having ideas from both sides of the aisle. having Members speak about their plans to make America better and stronger. rather than debating a court procedure. a stay on brick kilns. all day. and then rewarding ourselves with a day off tomorrow.
