I hope it is taken up and passed in the Senate. I hope it is signed into law soon. It will do some good in stopping people who have ill intent from being able to abuse our immigration system and enter our country. But this bill is just one of many. many things with regard to our immigration system that need to be examined. Other legislation that has already passed out of the Homeland Security Committee and the Judiciary Committee needs to be brought to the floor of the House for consideration. We also need to examine our visa programs and the interview process. which may be called into question following the tragedy in San Bernardino. We also need to make sure that our bordersparticularly our southern border. but all of our bordersare secure. People are crossing into our country undetected. and they are not just from South American and Central American countries.
