Some of them decide to ask to become refugees in the United States. They know that if they ask. they are in for a long. long haul18 to 24 months. Some have made it. fewer than 2.000. during the last 4 years. Some have made it. Not a single Syrian refugee coming into the United States since this war began has ever been charged with terrorism.
