There is no deterrence. so the attacks continue. We have watched the hardwon gains of our men and women in uniform melt away in Iraq following the Presidents decision to withdraw all of our troops in 2011 over the objections of his military leaders and commanders on the ground. Of course. there is the conflict in Syria. which has claimed 220.000 lives and counting. spawned the largest and most threatening terrorist army in the world. involved the repeated use of weapons of mass destruction. destabilized the entire Middle East. and led to the largest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. There is no one who was not deeply moved by the picture of the 3yearold baby on the beach. My friends. that is a direct result of Obamas foreign policy and have no doubt about it.
