The city of Knoxville. Tennessee. didnt violate any law. The city of Manchester. New Hampshire didnt violate any law. And I could name to you any number of other cities and towns in America who are trying to establish working relationships with their immigrant community who did not violate any law. But this bill would punish all those cities and towns simply because this legislation wishes to extract punishment for any city that has established a policy working with its immigrant community. There is no State or city law in America that supersedes Federal law. Federal law is the law of the land.
