As my good friend from Philadelphia points out. one House of Congress cannot change the law all by itself. And similarly. the Chief Executive cannot change the law enacted by Congress and signed by the President all by himself. The law is very clear that people who are in the country illegally. who have violated the immigration laws of the United States. need to be deported. And the President by this illegal executive action has attempted to override the Federal law enacted by Congress and signed by previous Presidents. The District Court agreed that President Obamas action is illegal and that an injunction lies against it.
