It is also why I traveled to Laos several years ago to engage the Lao Government directly on protecting the Hmong people. including refugees who had been forcibly repatriated to Laos from Thailand. And it is why I fight for the Hmong Americans of Minnesota every day in the Senate. Hmong Americans want the same things that all Americans wantgoodpaying jobs. a bright future for their children. excellent health care.
