I think we deal with two problems that clearly face us and face working families throughout our country: the ability to actually care for yourself if you are sick. or your family member. and not lose income. something virtually every industrialized nation has. We can do that. When my friend from Georgia talked about making hard choices. this is an easy choice. Lets not worry about too many of the hard choices. Lets make the easy ones that can help. We can do comprehensive immigration reform. which is contemplated in the Democratic budget. That not only helps reduce the deficit. it solves one of our most daunting national challenges. We could do that.
