Yesterday Democrats again voted to filibuster the Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill for the fourth time this month. What is their reason? They are desperate to protect the Presidents Executive action on immigration. Before President Obama decided to implement his Executive amnesty. he said 22 times he did not have the authority to take this action. In fact. in March of 2011 he told an audience: With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportation through executive order. that is just not the case. because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed .... weve got three branches of government. Congress passes the law. The executive branchs job is to enforce and implement those laws.
