Session #114 · 2015–17

Speech #1140009285

We have been slightly above that recently. and there has been a lot of positive spin about that. But we still have the lowest percentage of Americans in their working years actually working that we have had in this country in 40 years. Income is down $4.000 since 2007 for middleclass working families. The median income is down $4.000 since 2007. So how is this good for lawful immigrants. permanent residents. American citizens? How is it good to bring in even more workers at a time when we have the smallest percentage of Americans in the workforce in 40 years?
