We need to pass a clean Homeland Security bill. We need to do it now. We can take up the debate on immigration any time the Speaker and the majority leader want to bring it up. It is within their power to call the next issue we are going to debate. I sincerely hope that before we leave for the Presidents week break that we call up this bill. that we debate it and pass it. so we can make sure America is safe in this age of terrorism. and then lets save for another day the debate on Herta and the thousands just like her and what their fate and future will be in the United States of America.
