How many are there? We estimate 2 million across our country. There are 600.000 who have signed up for President Obamas protection program. called DACA. which says that on a 2year basis they will not be deported. What the Republicans have said is: We want to deport these DREAMers2 million of themand lets start with the 600.000 who have stepped up for protection from deportation. So they are risking funding the Department of Homeland Security in order to make their point that DREAMers have to go. Well. lets at least take a look at one of these DREAMers and understand the kind of people we are talking about.
