In fact. it is actually a risk they have been planning since last year all because of political pressure from the extreme antiimmigration right wing of their party. If Republicans are willing to risk funding for the Department of Homeland Security for political reasons. I believe the American people deserve to know exactly what that does mean because funding the Department of Homeland Security doesnt only keep the lights on the DHS headquarters. that funding protects our country from terrorist attacks at a time when the world is as dangerous and volatile as ever.
