We dont have to provide the hundreds of millions of dollars to hold people being detained. The local law enforcement is tired of holding people on behalf of the Federal Government and not being reimbursed. Let them do the job they are supposed to do of enforcing the law. I know the Arizona case said. the Supreme Court said Arizona could not be enforcing immigration law. that was a Federal job. but we certainly have the authority to say. you know what? Lets block grant that money out and let State and local government do that. enforce our laws for us. I think we will get a whole lot better job done.
