I want to thank the chairman of the Appropriations Committee for his leadership in putting a great bill and a comprehensive bill before us this morning that deals with protecting the homeland. I am presenting today. along with my distinguished colleaguesin particular. from South Carolina . and also Mr. BARLETTA from Pennsylvaniaan amendment that defunds the Presidents unconstitutional executive actions on illegal immigration. As it has been noted here last night and this morning. back in December. the House voted to fund the Federal Government for this fiscal year. FY15. but we kept funding for the Department of Homeland Security on a continuing resolution.
