House and Senate. would pass immediately today. and then we could look forward to a debate on comprehensive immigration reform. I am very pleased to yield 9 minutes to the distinguished gentleman from North Carolina . the ranking member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee. who worked so hard with the Republicans in producing this outstanding bill. Unfortunately. the bill is very different with the additions that were added just in the last week.
