The visits confirmed what we have known all along: DACA is the magnet for drawing Central American children here. Unaccompanied alien children believe they are going to receive amnesty. That is a false hope. There are also problems with the Office of Refugee Resettlement. with physical abuse of these children. and we know that the American people want us to take this action. Seventyfive percent reject executive amnesty. I encourage the body to join me today in passing the Blackburn amendment.
