Mr. Speaker. I thank the ranking member for yielding me this time. I dont hear anyone disagreeing that our immigration system is broken. It is broken for our commerce as businesses try to figure out how to do the best business across the border. as they try to figure out who they can employ and not employ. It is broken. I dont think anyone contests that. We need to have as much security here at home as we can because we know. abroad. there are folks who would like to hurt us. If we dont have a Department of Homeland Security with laws that work well. our security is broken.
